Journal of Decision Science in Islamic Education (JDSIE) is an international peer-reviewed academic journal published Triannually (three issues per year). The journal aims to disseminate high-quality empirical, theoretical, and interdisciplinary research in the field of Islamic education. JDSIE publishes original studies that explore teaching and learning, curriculum development, educational technology, educational leadership, assessment, teacher professional development, educational policy, and institutional innovation in Islamic educational settings. The journal particularly encourages research that integrates decision science, evidence-based educational practices, educational data analytics, artificial intelligence, and digital technologies to improve educational quality, governance, and strategic decision-making.

JDSIE welcomes contributions from diverse educational contexts, including schools, madrasah, pesantren, higher education institutions, and community-based Islamic education. The journal emphasizes innovative pedagogical practices, instructional design, curriculum innovation, learning media, educational psychology, character and moral education, inclusive education, educational management, and sustainable development in Islamic education. Manuscripts employing quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, design and development research, classroom action research, systematic literature reviews, meta-analyses, computational methods, and interdisciplinary approaches are encouraged.

Note: While the journal highlights decision science and evidence-informed educational development as one of its distinctive perspectives, it also welcomes broader studies on Islamic education, including teaching and learning of Islamic Religious Education (PAI), curriculum and instructional innovation, teacher education, educational technology, student development, and other contemporary issues that contribute significantly to the advancement of Islamic education.
